2023 Sculptures

This work got me comfortable moving beyond casting into the world of sculpting, where I was able to experiment with hand building, wheel, and firing methods.

I apprenticed under Sophie Gibson for 2023, where I focused on sculpting both anatomical elements and figures. Most work for anatomy was at a real scale (such as hands, feet), with busts and full figure work done at 25% scale. All hand sculpted with tiny tools.
