Cup of Sugar

This project initiated with promising development but did not advance to public launch as platforms like NextDoor and various delivery services rapidly expanded during 2020. These platforms quickly fulfilled the intended purpose of our app, making further investment seem untimely.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the U.S. state of national emergency beginning in March 2020, vulnerable populations, including the immunocompromised and elderly, faced exacerbated resource shortages. With grocery delivery services not yet widespread, Cup of Sugar was conceived in April as a solution to foster community connections for local resource sharing.
